Hi! I'm Jen Howell, the creative mind behind Orange Door Interior Design.

I’ve been working in the Christchurch interiors industry for a little over 20 years. During this time, I’ve learned from and collaborated with talented interior designers and co-owned a renowned Christchurch interiors business. Since 2022, I’ve been working solo at Orange Door, which gives me the flexibility I need as a mom to twin tweens!

Over the years, I’ve honed my skills and experience, becoming a hands-on, practical thinker with realistic ideas and a creative approach. I love layering color, pattern, and texture to define interior spaces.

With an eye for detail and a passion for creating inspiring environments, I bring a fresh perspective to every project. I work closely with you to understand your personality and style, so we can strategize how to coordinate and express your ideas in your home with practicality and purpose. My role is to guide and encourage you through the process, ensuring that the decisions are all yours! I’m here to make it easier and fun.
